Earnings Season
It's Not Just for Public Companies!
Good afternoon,
The financial press can be giddy with “earnings season,” declaring results and trajectories. Though the reporting is sometimes shrill, the underlying self analysis should be performed and communicated by every enterprise, regardless of ownership. Why?
Only when financial statements are taken further do they provide full value. Such value comes when financial results are viewed with history, competitive and economic considerations and corporate actions. Good analysis correlates key indicators (as described in my scorecard note) with results. Disclosure varies with enterprise and audience, but the process is invaluable.
Who should be the audiences? You and key personnel, your partners (whether active or not) and lenders should be informed. Each is vitally engaged. What better way to validate your course? I guarantee your company will be strengthened.
If you need help completing your earnings season activities, give me a call. I’d be glad to assist.
Warm regards,
